What is therapy

Therapy is a
collaborative process

It’s not about being given advice but about creating space to explore what’s going on for you, without any pressure.

It can be daunting to
begin with a new therapist

Especially if you are new to therapy. However, it can soon become a place where you feel safe, supported and encouraged. I believe that every client is unique and that it is the quality of the relationship that is at the heart of successful therapy.

Together, we’ll make sense of patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours – some of which may be outside of your current awareness.

Therapy is a well-researched, evidence-based approach that supports emotional and mental wellbeing. It can lead to greater insight, help you make healthier choices, and strengthen your ability to cope with difficulties.

Over time, it can build emotional resilience and offer lasting tools for navigating life’s ups and downs.

“When someone really hears you without passing judgment on you, without trying to take responsibility for you, without trying to mould you, it feels damn good”

CARL ROGERS
