Working with me

It can be daunting to
begin with a new therapist
Especially if you are new to therapy. However, it can soon become a place where you feel safe, supported and encouraged. I believe that every client is unique and that it is the quality of the relationship that is at the heart of successful therapy.
I work with a range of circumstances, issues and problems, including:
-
Anxiety
-
Depression & low mood
-
Low self-esteem/confidence
-
Trauma
-
Stress
-
Grief & loss
-
Suicidal thoughts
-
Desire for self-awareness
-
Relationship difficulties
-
Imposter syndrome
-
Self-harm
-
Identity
-
Loss of direction

Neurodiversity
As part of a neurodiverse family, I am familiar with the joys and the challenges of living with neurodiversity and have a neurodiverse affirming practice. I aim to offer counselling that works for every individual and will spend time getting to know you to help understand what you need from me. Whether it be working with practical strategies to deal with day-to-day challenges or simply giving you the opportunity to leave your mask to one side (when you feel ready to), I’m here to help you get what you need from therapy.
Qualifications & experience
I trained at the Metanoia Institute and have a BSc (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling.
I worked for 2 years in a generalist counselling service in West London, working with people with a broad range of issues, before setting up my own practice. I continue to deepen my professional development by taking workshops, engaging in informed discussion with fellow members of the psychotherapy profession, and reading.
Training recently completed:
-
The Impact of Developmental Stages with Survivors of Childhood Trauma
-
Heterosexism and Heteronormativity
-
Mother and Daughter Relationships

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their strict ethical guidelines and am committed to maintaining a professional, ethical practice.
